An automatic hamburger production line typically consists of several integral components that work together to produce processed burgers from raw ingredients. Depending on the scale of the production and the type of product, these components can vary significantly. Generally speaking, however, a typical production line will include: a storage area for the raw ingredients, an ingredient measuring and weighing station, a pattying machine, a fryer, a burger packaging machine, and a stacker/dispenser that distributes the finished product.

At the start of the line, the fresh ingredients and additives such as flavorings and seasonings are stored in loading bins and delivered to the weighing unit on conveyor belts according to the recipe.
